TYPE SPECIMEN BOOKLET

This project was an overview on the development and usage of the typeface Centaur. The spreads included information on the history of the font and its creator, popular uses of the font in history, and included the entire type set. A reoccurring element in the booklet is a centaur engraving in which Bruce Rogers, the type artist, had designed himself. Using the font’s history as a main influence on design, this booklet uses an oldstyle approach in a modern layout.
